All I am saying is the took the basic concept of a childrens Christain song and tweeked it every so slightly and sung about President Obama in the same way that that kids sing about Jesus. The first line I metioned in quotes “He said red, yellow, black or white/All are equal in his sight.” is from the MMM MMM MM video, talking about BHO. Check it out when you get home.

YouTube is blocked by our proxy at work, so I’ll have to look at it later. The transcript you just posted didn’t mention Obama at all. (Unless of course Obama translates to Jesus in some language I’m not familiar with, or when you’re speaking in tongues.) However, if the transcript you just posted was sung in public school, then indeed I do have problems with it. Not because they’re singing about a President (they’re not), but because they’re singing about Jesus. I’m very familiar with at least the chorus of that song, as I was raised in a southern baptist church. (Though from what I remember it was Red or yellow, black or white, though I guess the order doesn’t really matter that much.) But if you’re saying this childrens’ Christian hymn shouldn’t be sung in a public school, I wholeheartedly agree with you. I just don’t think they’re talking about Obama here.

I’m only talking about the school in Mableton. (The post is titled “They sure know how to indoctrinate them in Mableton.”) I don’t see that on the link… I suppose I can check out the YouTube videos to see if that’s what you’re referencing when I get home, but that’s assuming I really care about the issue that much. On a side note, maybe Harmony Leland does a lot of their teaching through singing…

How many states have a county, school, building, road, airport or so on named Washington? I am not saying Ronald Reagan is Washington, but after Washington, he Monroe, and Jefferson did fairly well in electoral college votes as a percentage. In other words, he was liked.

What an awful message. I think your missing the point. Most, if not all, of what the children are singing is meaningless, hackneyed tripe. If one song is going to brainwash your children, there are much bigger concerns about your child raising abilities.
