I love these holidays, but from a budgetary perspective, they are stupid.
Georgians who buy certain energy-saving and water-efficient products this weekend can save a few bucks.
The stateís sales tax holiday began at 12:01 a.m. today and runs through midnight Sunday. Residents will not pay state or local sales taxes on the purchase of Energy Star-qualified or Water-Sense-labeled products that cost $1,500 or less per item.
