I'm glad Graves will have a chance to speak because I like what he has to say.

But lets not get carried away. If his efforts with the 216 Policy Group were so heroic, why did he throw them under the bus? 216 really moved everyone in the right direction by focusing on conservative values as applied to each piece of legislation. When the leadership got uncomfortable because the bright light made some R members uncomfortable, Graves discontinued the group. I guess it was easier to give up and go with the flow than get the boss angry again. I don't know what to believe -- what Graves says or how he handled the 216 group. Based on 216 I'd say he'll fit right in with the rest of them in Washington.

Bill Greene -- are you going to post your comments? I'd be interested in reading them.

That's because the definition of "conservative" is subjective and varies from person to person. My definition includes an adherence to the Constitution which Tom Graves has promised if elected. That's why I'm supporting Tom Graves instead of some of the other "conservatives".

I think I finally understand. There are different degrees of conservativeness. Just like there are good fats and bad fats!

I realize this is too much to ask of icarus, graves and all his staffers that post on here - but for crying out loud people - it's 9/11.

Try as hard as you to show just a little bit of class. I know its probably too much to ask, but talk about our heros not your ridiculous pandering today.

Damn you people are pathetic

Tom has had a following with the national conservative groups for a couple of years now. Think about how absurd it would be to have a guy like Evans speak at the National Tea Party while he's being paid to get put on knee pads and beg for pork.

Been here in DC since Wed. night, and the excitement is palpable as more and more patriots pour in. LOTS going on, leading up to the big day on Saturday. I'll be speaking in the 1:00pm block, with one simple theme: "It's the Constitution, Stupid!"

Of course, with each speaker getting 3 minutes, that may be all I have time to say. :)
