There’s still time to sign up for Peach Pundit’s Pro Football Pick’em.

There is a game tonight, so you should be registered and your picks entered by 8:00pm if you want to play the full season.

To register, GO HERE.

Use Group ID: 7545
And Password: peachpundit

We’re one week in on the College Pick’em, with someone who might be me leading the pack. Results are below the jump. If you still want to play, you can, but you’ll have some ground to make up. Sign Up instructions can be found here.

Fantasy Football kicks off tonight as well, so get your lineups set. I hope to have a post introducing all of our Candidate’s lineups by tomorrow morning.

O.K., I didn’t want to say this on the front page, but My Goodness I DOMINATED this week’s pick’em.

Now that I’ve said it, I’m prepared for an 0-fer this week.

Here are last week’s results and current standings (as compiled by the “I’m sure he’s bitter because Icarus is ahead” Doug Deal):

1 Icarus’ Winged Wonders 126 13-4
2 Steve H 119 11-6
3 Deal. Really? 115 12-5
4 Picks of the Ferryman 110 9-8
5 debbie0040 102 11-6
6 Tiger Girl ~ War EAGLE 98 11-6
7 Alabama Hot Pocket 96 10-7
8 brettbittner 95 8-9
9 MSBassSinger 94 11-6
10 angry mob 91 9-8
11 Tyler Burgess 88 11-6
12 Daniel N Adams 87 11-6
13 AubieTurtle 86 10-7
14 BUCKSTERS 81 9-8
15 Jammers 64 9-8
16 GA Voter 0 11-6
16 William Ray 0 9-8

GA Voter and William Ray forgot to assign confidence points, so they received no points this week, but their pick’em record reflect their choices

Note for those who said something like “I won’t do well because I’m a girl”, we have Debbie, Tiger Girl, Ms.Bass.Singer, and Angry Mob (Kellie) in the top 10.

Stats can change quickly in this game. Get in there and have some fun with it.

For anyone who wants to join late, I will evoke the power and awesome magic of Math 123, to recalculate the final tally post week 1, or do some sort of percentage of maximum points dealeo.

I picked heavily against Georgia to be Spurriered this weekend, so expect Icarus to be passed by yours truly.

And I incorrectly blamed UGA for my fourth place finish last week. In retrospect, since Icarus had so many “not wrong,” it is also Ohio State’s fault for not running up the score on Navy, Penn State for letting Akron actually score, Oklahoma for not having a backup quarterback, Texas for pulling out the first stringers to early, Maryland for not even trying to put up a fight, and Virginia Tech for not covering the spread.

If it wasn’t for this confidence points thingy, I would be in the bottom of the standings.

Does that mean I know how to hedge my bets or what?

It means you know how to take advantage of Off(0) if nothng else.

Off(0) is my bread and butter…. !

My picks were random. I had no idea what the “confidence points” were so I just clicked away until I had used all of them. ;-)

Now I’ve lost all confidence in you Kellie.

Never depend on me when it comes to football. ;-)
