Sean Hannity is invading Gwinnett today. At around 3:00 pm he’ll be at the Marriot Hotel near Gwinnett Place Mall for a rally (RSVP required) and then he’ll have his Freedom Concert tonight at the Gwinnett Arena. I’m pretty sure the concert is sold out.
I’ll be at the rally and should have some video later but if any of you are attending one or both of the events, feel free to give us your report in the comments or send me pics and video at buzz-at-buzzbrockway-dot-com.
UPDATE: Here are some videos.
John Linder, Tom Price, Ralph Reed.
Quick interview with Karen Handel
UPDATE #2: Courtesy of Kellie, here are a few photos of the Faith & Freedom Rally and one of the Freedom Concert.

I will be at both. I had planned on going to just the early event but Martha Zoller called me this morning with two tickets for the concert. Yeah Martha!!
I will take lots of pictures.
Good seeing you Kellie!
Where’s that “Men in Black” flashy pen thing when you need one?
I think Hannity may be on meds.
He’s appearing at a Ralph Reed rally, so that may be true.
jeremy? life calling jeremy?
The FFC rally was a huge success. The crowd was greater than anticipated. The program was a great . Ralph gave a great speech and it was clear he has the fire in your belly enthusiasm and is back on top. Ralph showed humility by talking about imperfections and the fact he found out that God could use someone imperfect like him. People came from all over Georgia. I saw one friend that bought a bus load from the Towns County area.
FFC is going to use the social networkings sites and other technology to mobilize the troops. I was impressed.
It may be just me, but it seemed like Jon Voight received a much more enthusiatic response from the crowd than Sean Hannity did.
The Freedom Concert was awesome. Rich Little was one of the performers. It was funny to observe the younger crowd did not know who he was. Charlie Daniels rocked the house. Daniels ended with Devil Went Down to Georgia with Sean Hannity.
Hannity talked about his early days in radio when he was in Huntsville, AL and his callers would call in and say “Roll Tide” and he did not know what that meant. He said he soon found out and he learned to say Roll Tide. I loved that part of the program

Daniels ended with Devil Went Down to Georgia…
Hannity and Reed… how apt!
Nancy Pelosi came my mind when they sang that song.
We are facing an onslaught from socialism and we need to all work together with different groups to defeat ObamaCare, fiscal irresponsibility, and infringement on freedoms.
Groups that have a purist view and consistently trash others that don’t see eye to eye with them on every single issue are self serving . They don’t want to work with other groups that don’t agree with them on every single issue. There are many in the Libertarian Party that understand you have to do that. There are some that don’t and those alienate people that might believe in most of their agenda. If the Libertarian party truly wants to grow and become a viable third party, they need get rid of that mindset.
Our agenda is liberty. The Republican agenda is growing government.
Debbie,
My comment was a little tongue in cheek (sorry, forgot the smiley face).
However, Jason is right. Those like Reed are no different than Pelosi… grow government and use the power of the state to forcetheir agenda, their morality, if you will.
You say “work with others”… that’s a two way street. Reed and Hannity have no interest in Liberty, other than to use the rhetoric to get votes… look at Reed’s speaker list… I don’t see any “Freedom” or “Liberty” organizations represented… Coalition of ONE! The same old tired, GOP Big Government, say one thing, do the opposite, fall in line or the highway for you, republicans. But then again, hypocrisy is normal for these two. They ooze with the slim of it.
Ralph showed humility by talking about imperfections and the fact he found out that God could use someone imperfect like him.
Fixed your typo:
Ralph showed his usual arrogance by talking about imperfections and the fact he found out that by invoking the name of God, he could use defective people like me for whatever money-making purposes he has in mind.
Excellent reading between the lines there, ByteMe! +1
I will likely experience a bolt of lightning (or some other plague of misfortune) for saying this, BUT…good one, Byte.
Oxendine had a large crowd of supporters there.
I thought was a good rally. The concert was great. I did take pictures at the rally but drppoed my camera at the end and broke it. doh!
I have a few on my iphone that I will send in.
Does your camera still have a working memory card?
If your phone has a memory card that stores the pictures, you can get a card reader for fairly cheap at almost any place that sells computer accessories. Usually for under $10. You may be able to save the pictures.
If it’s an SD card, or most other form factors for that matter, lots of newer computers have reader slots built in. I’m using a 2 year old HP that has 4 on the front of it. Ask around if yours doesn’t our take the card to Best Buy for a “demo” of their newer models.
Am I getting voted down because I mention Ox having a lot of supporters or because I dropped my camera? I don’t like this voting thing.
Maybe it’s because I can’t spell dropped. lol
It was a slam on the OX. Negative votes on my reply in 3, 2, 1…
At least the photo of my secret plotting with the Oxendine people has now been erased. No one will ever know we were…oh…wait…darn!
I sent in that photo! You can’t hide Jason!
My 12 year old son got the camera working. lol
That would have been the other suggestion…find any kid under the age of 15 and they would be able to get the camera working again.
Thanks for the pics Kellie
This is not to suggest you endorse Ox, but do you recall what he included in his speech at the “rally”?
He’s becoming my favorite amusing candidate because it is embarrassingly plain that before any public utterance at all lately, he is consulting http://www.georgiafirst.org for pointers on how to appear like a R/republican who has a clue.
I do not endorse Ox. He said something about the Fair Tax and being against Obamacare which is odd since he’s running for Governor not a federal position.
Stick with cheapo disposable cameras, Kellie. They don’t break when they fall.
Voting on posts is a good idea on forums that get lots of off topic responses and spam but for a forum like Peach Pundit it seems to serve more of a popularity indicator of those who happen by that day. At the very least you should be able to click on the vote total and see who voted for and against. It’s not like we’re voting for the DOT board.
Wow. How does Hannity get such diverse crowds? He’s amazing.
Hey! Get your government hands off their Medicaid!!
Debbie or Kellie, do you know the name of the long instrumental piece the Charlie Daniels Band played just before he sang Amazing Grace. I’ve never been a Daniels fan, but he was awesome. I think “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” was the best !
I thought Rich Little was kind of out of place and I wondered if Billy Ray had been hitting the sauce before he came on! LOL! He did do a great job on “Some Gave All,” though. Lee Greenwood looked and sounded incredibly good, as did Michael W. Smith.
As for speakers, I think Jon Voight was the one who threw the red meat to the crowd until he lost his place on his notes (he didn’t have a teleprompter).
It will be a sure sign of this country’s impending demise when Hannity and his Vanity have a sphere of influence outside of big business lobbyists and the bible belt-God-bless-America-as-long-as-it’s-us set.
I miss the Long Haired Country Boy.
Are you sure that qualifies as a “Rally”? I thought a Rally was supposed to include a wild raucous crowd standing and cheering, ect… and sometimes with signs, preferably made at home. You know, like a high school football “Pep Rally” or perhaps an “audit the Fed” rally. In fact, your BEST rallys probably originate from the “bottom up” rather than the “top down”. Maybe they would be more excited if they passed out some “Grecian formula” or something.
Rich Little, Charlie Daniels, Jon Voight, Lee Greenwood, Billy Ray…
You sure this wasn’t a show straight outta Branson, MO?
Do you have a problem with Branson?
What happens in Branson should stay in Branson.
