The number of candidates for the House District 58 special election in November continues to grow. News has arrived that joining Asha Jackson, Angela Stovall, Michael McPherson and Kevin Johnson is Simone Bell, a self-described “longtime activist and advocate for social justice.” Yes, she’s also a “community organizer.” Further distinguishing her from the other candidates, per her website, is that she is “a homeowner, a taxpayer and a part of the human community.”
I’m glad she cleared that up for us.
Bell is currently on a leave of absence from her job as a “community educator” in the Atlanta-based Southern regional office of Lambda Legal. The special election to fill the seat previously held by Robin Shipp, who resigned after joining the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, will be in November.

A Community Organizer? Pshaw, what have they ever been elected to?
Yup! And look at how incompetent he has been!
“Part of the Human Community”
That’s fricken awesome.
Will she accept contributions made to The Human Fund?
I love Democrats and their politically correct, open-mindedness. So careful not to offend anyone you come across as a wacko. When she talks about her exclusive membership in the “human community”, doesn’t she realize she’s discriminating against animals and unknown life-forms from other planets?
Icarus, they disappeared after “Don’t You Want Me” and “I’m Only Human,” I think.
Oh, wait…
Of course as a community organizer, she is licensed to practice medicine.
And sell insurance.
Another post from this guy complaining about black people
Its because they absorb more than their fair share of the visible spectrum.
She should hold a town hall and yell at voters.
She’s with Lambda Legal? Does that mean she’s a nerd?

I’m not very organized. Who’s my community organizer? I’m east of the Hooch and south of Sandy Bottom.
