Late Friday afternoon, the gubernatorial campaign of Karen Handel announced that she would be joining Erick Erickson and Texas Governor Rick Perry in the first (and hopefully last) RedState Republican riot against the Democrats’ tyrannical regime.
The day is expected to be filled with profanity-laden tirades about how the nation’s 44th president is not a natural-born citizen; why Texas should be allowed to leave the union, and a slew of other incendiary rhetoric designed to whip the mostly white male crowd into an uncontrollable frenzy.
Karen Handel is scheduled to deliver remarks tomorrow morning at 10:45AM right before President Obama is burned in effigy.

If I’m not mistaken, you’re a Democrat, which, if you’re from the Paul camp ain’t no problem, because, hey, we love to recruit folks who are pissed at the status quo, but hey, why don’t you do yourself and the Dems a favor and quit lumping things together like this, eh? For example, Rick Perry ain’t squat in the Paul camp. Everything he says and does is suspect as far as many are concerned. And there aren’t many secessionists in the Paul camp that I’m aware of. False flag all the way. And balkanization. Congratulations on playing along.

Getting to the truth about politicians has nothing to do with incendiary rhetoric. In fact, I was trying to help Andre, by suggesting that if he, in fact actually has some type of ideology, that he separate the issues rather than combine them.

GCO convention is a great event. What a great organization. RS meeting had some great speakers as well. Handel as a big speaker is obvious, but I wish I could have made the RS event. Any details on next years event, Erick? Already being planned I see.

Call me ignorant but what does “the Paul camp” mean? Please clarify or feel free to call me out for not knowing lingo
It’s sort of military lingo (I think) like different armies camped out in different areas. The “Paul camp” would be the type of Republican who might have supported Ron Paul.
It’s probably not a very good term to use, especially when I’m not exactly here trying to Represent Ron Paul. (Bill Green breathes a sigh of relief.)
LOL, neither am I, GF. He just happens to be right way more often than most “conservatives” or “leaders” of the GOP that I know. I’ll take that any day over, well, you know.
I’m more closely aligned with the Howard Dean/Hillary Clinton camp.

OK OK in Andre’s defense I suppose to an outsider, all these Republicans look just alike (angry and white) And, IMHO I really don’t think the “birth” issue should even be on the main menu for these large meetings or rallys or whatever. This is more advanced stuff, you know, for bloggers.

Andre, you couldn’t be more wrong. Erick is a conspiracy theory and “extremism” phobic. You will likely get little more than pure unadulterated “mainstream conservative” talking points at a RedState Gathering.
