Barack Obama’s Brown Shirt Brigade, which more formally goes by the name “Organizing for America” is going to be meeting in City Council Chambers in Macon, GA on Friday, July 31, 2009, at 6:00 p.m.

This is the group Obama is using to bully member of congress into supporting the socialization of the American economy and healthcare.

Pitiful.

What do you mean by “meeting”?

ByteMe July 27, 2009 at 3:23 pm

If only to annoy Erick further, we should all go and support this group.

Erick, you should get in their face and proclaim: “Bring it on!”
That’s what Handel would say…along with counless other tired, used up cliches. Geez, who’s advising that poor woman? What next? “What you talkin’ ’bout Willis?”

Joshua Morris July 27, 2009 at 4:14 pm

“What you talkin’ ’bout Willis?”

LOL

“Make my day!”

One big problem with Republicans these days is they don’t have the BALLS to vet the crooks and liars (because there’s so many among the Republicans too) or follow the money (same reason) or wage an effective anti-Obama campaign characterizing him as a corporatist (because they’re corporatists too) In fact all the Republican party machinery really has is panic and fear and race baiting. They’re pretty much AWOL when it comes to fiscal conservatism, constitutionalism, or much else to do with conservatism.

You mean calling the group “Barack Obama’s Brown Shirt Brigade” was about trying to make us afraid??

Game Fan July 27, 2009 at 5:12 pm

Just saying we need more “follow the money” rather than “hey you guys is black and we’s white” deal. How predictable. For example the big organizational chart which ties together Soros, ACORN, ect… and not so much this “Rev. Wright” stuff and many other issues. “Average citizens, Going where the corporatists fear to tread.”

So let me get this straight…a president elected in a democratic system is trying to rally his supporters to express their views to their congressman so that first off, he understands what his constituents want (or at least one group of his constituents) and to advance his political agenda.

In other words, democracy is happening, and Erick thinks that is “pitiful”? There is something pitiful contained in this post and it isn’t the OFA people.

AubieTurtle July 27, 2009 at 5:07 pm

rugby, rugby, rugby… don’t you know the proper way of acting in a democracy* is to show up on election day and vote for the candidate with the best advertising agency and political consultants? Time between elections should be spent doing something patriotic, like buying Chinese made goods at the mall. Don’t forget to pay your sales “tax” so those businesses can use it as free working capital.

Not much to get worked up over on this posting. Obviously Erick has decided to go the Hannity route of political commentary and we’ll have many more such posts to look forward to. Got to keep that most influential conservative blogger ranking up. Now that’s true democracy!

*democracy, representative democracy, democratic republic, or whatever term you want to use in this context

I heard that Erick is welcoming them with free passes to one of his massage parlors
