Provided the State Ethics Commission website doesn’t crash again (looking at you Michael Jackson memorial watchers), we will be posting numbers for state-wide candidates over at Georgia Legislative Watch. Republican candidates will be available here. Democrats here.
Keep in mind not everyone has filed yet, so we’ll be filling everything in as the filings become available.

This came in this morning from my email. Graham, a high school science teacher, is running against incumbent Vincent Fort for the 39th District State Senate Seat. Graham has put his hours in on the volunteer boards, and wants to take on the Teacher’s Union on issues of tenure, etc.
This email is going out to those who contributed to my state senate campaign to say thanks. In a couple hours, we will be sending out a press release with some very good news, but I wanted to share it with you, the ones who made it possible, first.
My goal was to raise $10,000 by June 30th and ten days beforehand, my political consultant said I needed to raise at least $15,000 to be credible, which I wasn’t sure I could do in just ten days. At the same time, my opponent had been telling people in Atlanta that “Balch has really pumped up my fundraising”. People around Atlanta said as an incumbent state senator, he will probably raise at least $30-40K that he reports on his June 30th disclosure if not more.
The results are in and there are two big surprises that together create a landslide first victory. First, thanks to your help, I raised $28,395 in cash and $31,765 including in-kind donations. My opponent raised $14,430 meaning we raised twice as much! He has spent his campaign war chest that he had left over from the last election cycle and after expenses, I have $28,075 cash on hand to his $13,524.
This is an incredible first win that you made possible and we can be excited. It is also only the first win and on July 13, 2010 I will become Georgia’s newest state senator only after a series of victories along the way that lead to an election victory at the polls.
I will continue to work hard on running a successful and winning campaign, but never in my life can I forget those that joined me at the very beginning of my first race. A big heartfelt thank you for your support and the victory that we can share together.
Gratefully,
Graham
Dang! ANYONE who has taking-out Vincent Fort (politically) in mind as a goal is alright with me!
In fact…the way Jeff Sexton whines about crap is the same way Fort does. Maybe they’re related…mirror images of each other.
er…Graham Balch
Primary Day is July 20, 2010. Just FYI.
Oxendine Total Contributions reported this period-$416,580.35
Correct me if I wrong or looked at wrong line.

Ok I believe that is right double checking.
Old news-my bad. Didn’t check out the threads.
Cost to Ox campaign to have Bill Simon to defend you on PP – $2421.65
Certainly does explain some of Simon’s comments recently
Didnt see Andre on Ox’s disclosure. Explains why he isnt defending the Ox.
Priceless
Boy, I wish I had me a guvment job where I could suck a paycheck down every day, get paid while I surfed the Internet, and flip the bird at my boss for stealing his money instead of giving him/her a full day’s work for the pay I’m earning.
Like…say, PD, Jeff, Ready2Grumble, Rome, etc. do.
But, we all cannot work for the guvment. Some of us have to go out and actually work for a living.
Yep. Def on Ox’s payroll or spending WAY too much time with him. His attitudes are rubbing off on ya, and that aint exactly a good thing.
In Ox’s defense, at least he was smart enough to cut Breedlove’s pay at the end of March. Still $5K/month too much for Breedlove’s “strategy” if you ask me, at least if Ox is trying to WIN this race, but hey, what is that saying? ____ As An Ox?
I’m calling BS on Ox’s report though. There is an End Receipt for a meal from Williamson Brothers BBQ for $10.00 I’ve eaten there several times, I know their prices. If you ate there for $10.00, you got a small appetizer and water, and that is about IT.
Just a couple observations on Oxendine’s report:
Why is the campaign office in an apartment – Post Renaissance Apartments?
Why is that same apartment complex where a campaign staffer lives – Toni Watson?
And two petty observations – If the campaign really is being run out of an apartment, why not use Vonage and avoid ~$200 monthly phone bills? Also, the address for the Commerce Club is 34 Broad St. Does the campaign staff not know how to enter the State for an expenditure? Petty – probably but for all he is paying for consultants and field directors it would seem as tho the little things would be well taken care of.
I will once again note for the record that I am NOT on Oxendine’s payroll.
Nope. Absolutely not.
In the same vein, Erick is NOT on Handel’s payroll – nor is ‘Erickson’ anywhere on her disclosure, including itemized contributors.
I don’t think Erick has been accused of being on the Handel payroll while I’m frequently accused of being on the Oxendine payroll.
Until June, I wasn’t on McBerry’s payroll.
McBerry has a payroll?
Thou dost protest too much… Are sub-contractors or sub-sub contrators listed or hired guns there-of, hmmm?
Jason – Ox should be paying you $5000 / month. You’d do a much better job than the other guy.
How much is the Ox paying you to say that?
I get the big bucks not the chump change he’s offering the other guys.
