I just wanted to give you guys an update on Jace Walden. Here’s an e-mail he sent this morning:

Hey ya’ll,

Just sending a quick e-mail to let everyone know that I arrived in Afghanistan today. I’m currently at Camp Phoenix in Kabul. I hope you’re all doing well. It’s hot as hell here, but overall not to bad so far. I start some inprocessing this afternoon and have about 4 days worth of classes coming up. Hopefully, I’ll push out to my final destination (FOB Vulcan) sometime in the next 10 days. Hope you’re all doing well.

Hey everyone,

I appreciate your support and I look forward to getting back to blogging when I get back. I’m doing well here so far. Kind of starting to get into a rythm now. Thanks for the kind words.
