Tax dodgers in the General Assembly beware: Voters could soon learn your names. The Department of Revenue must report lawmakers who don’t file income taxes, thanks to legislation signed into law Tuesday by Gov. Sonny Perdue.
The law gives lawmakers, who are to be reported to the House and Senate Ethics Committee chairmen, 30 days to remedy the situation before an investigation.

Obviously this law was developed by racist white Republican folks who are out to get Democrat Robert Brown because he’s black and a Democrat.
C’mon, ProgressiveDem! C’mon Goldwater Conservative! Here’s your chance to chime in about those “evil Republicans.”
Well actually this has no impact on Brown since he’s already come out and admitted that he’s way behind and that he’s filed extensions. Who the bill targets are those who have failed to even cooperate or contact DOR regarding their unpaid taxes.
And no, I’m not condoning Brown for his actions, and yes, I’m interested to see who’s on this list.

Is it just me or do you wingnuts complain more about anti-racism than racism?
Although I did not think Senator Brown handled the situation well, he did say he had been sick and had extensions. You can get extensions for severe illnesses. In this economic downturn you are going to find many Republicans as well as Democrats who are unable to pay taxes, especially if they were involved in the real estate and construction business. This might not turn out the way you think it will.
How is this bad news for Sen. Brown?
Everybody already knows about his taxes being unpaid. I think this is bad news for all of the GOPers that ousted Brown’s name. Once again, they will be hypocrites in the public eye.
Law? Who cares about the law? http://www.bibbrepublicanparty.com Heck, politicians all over find unique ways to skirt the laws. In Bibb County, I’ve been told, Commissioners have forbidden their clerks from bringing digital recorders into the meeting room to record their minutes. Outrageous! Spoke with a reporter about this and simply got a yawn….
In Bibb County, it is a different world. These politicians THINK the world revolves around them and the law is only applies if their position is threatened.
Maurice, just take you iPhone in and use iTalk or QuickVoice to record everything. Then upload it and watch the fun begin.

We “wingnuts” would complain more about real racism when it is really going on. However, you Left Wingnuts have a propensity to play the race card ANYTIME there is a black person who faces some sort of challenge, and you can go find some white straw man (or group) to blame for it.
