Travis Fain has a roundup of a mid-state meeting of local legislators. I hear Robert Brown skipped the whole Chamber of Commerce sponsored affair. Maybe he’s getting his taxes in order before tomorrow.
Not in the roundup was something two different people called me about. They said David Lucas hinted that the Democrats might file suit against the state over S.B. 200, the transportation reforms, as possibly being unconstitutional.

I don’t know if I like the idea of legislators going to court to fight legislation they didn’t have enough votes to defeat in the legislature. That should be barred.
Now if a county commissioner sued because his/her county was harmed by the legislation and there was indeed a constitutional issue, then I would have little problem with that.
Maybe the Dems will also sue over SB 31….
