Will Sonny veto S.B. 200? I hear it is unlikely, but some of his staff is concerned that the rush to get it done caused some problems that might not be easily remedied by revised legislation next year and, therefore, a veto might be better.
Don’t hold your breath though.

Why would it be unlikely?
Sonny will sign this piece of crap legislation, as seriously flawed as it is. He has to, because his future employer (a certain Spanish toll road company) was promised some sort of legislation where Sonny could get them a head start as they privitize Georgia’s highways and Sonny makes a fortune. Nothing like a huge conflict of interest to get Sonny’s juices going. Also, one of Sonny’s son-in-laws is now on their payroll. Not the State trooper son-in-law, since he is divorcing Sonny’s daughter. What a mockery we have in the Governor’s Mansion.
