I received an e-mail from Rush and Sean this morning, it stated “define everything politician X does as “conservative.”

John, notice he also uses the same ridiculous logic people of his ilk are famous for.

The hotel/motel tax for Bibb County is NOT….I repeat….NOT a liberal tax , nor is the 2-way split between the Georgia Sports and Music Halls of Fame . If it were Senator Staton wouldn’t be behind it nor would Representatives Peake and Sellier. It is a necessary evil to keep the halls in our community.

No wonder the GOP has a credibility gap. Define politician X as “conservative” then no matter how free wheeling and big spending he is on items that should be left up to the private sector, define everything politician X does as “conservative”.

…Lose the Halls and you lose plenty of jobs in the area as well. Where do you think those people will go when they lose their jobs? Answer: The Department of Labor….Hmmmmm…..I think tax payers help support people on unemployment. Who knows….several of them might end up on welfare temporarily, or using food stamps. Perhaps they will lose their medical insurance. I wonder who’s going to pay for their medical bills if they get sick?…

Lesson is learned…don’t disagree with Bill Simon or else he will resort to playground tactics.

It’s not a matter of “disagreeing” with me. It’s a matter of writing with no purpose. Like, this gem of yours: “I guess all I am saying is that there is not a soul on this board who can give me any solid evidence as to how Handel or Oxendine would handle many policy issues. As I stated earlier there is no paper trail for these two. Call me old fashion, but I just like to see evidence instead of hearing words.”

As I said, you write but have no point to your writing except to incesantly whine about not having enough “evidence” that’s not…just….”words” …you read on a blog…..

Bill I chose to ignore you awhile ago. I actually think that you are rather smart, but your arrogance and snideness is your undoing. You can say whatever…again I have read your blogs and read your post and unfortunately the conceit that you have for yourself is not measurable compared to the quality of your work. Learn to be a little bit more humble, and maybe I will take you seriously. Also whether you remember it or not, after our first debate on here we agreed on some things. The GOP is not in trouble and will come back very well thanks to the incompetence of Barack and the idiots in Congress.

If you would like to read up on the issues you talked about help yourself. Go to http://www.johnoxendine.com . For some reason Handel and Cagle don’t have anything about issues on their respective websites.

This converstation is over as you continue to get personal and call names or offer warnings, but not once address why Handel was so eager to get the endorsement of the Log Cabin Republicans and other gays yet turned her back on them during the SOS campaign.

I love how the unmovable radical that I am can support of and be critical of Karen Handel in the same blog. Karen’s willingness to reach out to the Gay community in Atlanta is welcome especially if she does not pander to them or they are significant base of support in Fulton County. Questions might be raised by some of her political alliances, but the answers are more likely to be acceptable to the majority of Republicans than not. A number of very hard right Social Conservatives women supported her, like I did, for SOS because for that job she was the best candidate. Now, for Governor, the calculus has changed and we will have to see.

Georgia witnessed this campaign on a statewide strategy when Handel ran for SOS successfully. Smear tactics of Gays, Log Cabin Republicans, the Southern Voice reports, accusations of pandering, no experience or lack of experience and education.

I know what’s coming next, if the smears hold the pattern to the SOS race, childless, possibly a lesbian, adopting pets instead of children and on and on. Except with a new twist, only Social Conservatives are fiscal conservatives.

It backfired then, and it’s starting to p-ss me off.

I haven’t decided to jump in yet, but keep it up.
