For instance, he still will serve as one of the Republican appointments to the state elections board. The legal opporations he has put together as General Counsel have become the model for the GOP nationwide. I had the opportunity this past election of volunteering as part of the legal team as a 3rd year law student. I will volunteer again next election cycle since I will have (hopefully) passed the bar by then. Anne Lewis has been there as Deputy GC through most of this time and has been part of putting together these operations as well. She will be able to hit the ground running. Some times you just feel like it's time to pass the torch. That's what Randy did. He will in many ways.
