Please make sure your friendly state legislator reads this.

A website called Red County put up information accusing a bunch of you of not paying your taxes. The author clearly misread Travis Fain’s article.

It was not RedState. It was not Peach Pundit. It was not me. I have zero relationship with Red County. So don’t be mad at me.

Geez. Glad to know you guys all read me, but please. It wasn’t me.

Erick,

It is all your fault.

Eric,
Why should you feel bad because these names were put in the open?
I know you need to keep your contacts, but is this not against all that you as a person stands for. Do you pay your taxes? I bet you do. Is not the time to stop sucking up to these guys? I’m tire of these law makers thinking they are so special and that you have to bow down to them. They should feel honored to serve us and not expect us to feel honored that they are our legislators. That’s what the problem is now.

Thanks Erick for mentioning this was a misread of Travis’ article from yesterday http://www.macon.com/198/story/640079.html. The author has retracted his earlier, grossly erroneous post and is trying to make nice now with the legislators. Personally, I think you’re great!

Glad to see Robert Brown has turned it into a racial issue.

From the macon.com article:
“But a list, without names, was prepared and given to the chairmen of the House and Senate ethics committees, at their request, Revenue Commissioner Bart Graham said.”

UM, I’m confused – what did the list contain, if it didn’t contain names?

None of us should be paying income tax. The IRS needs to be shut down, and we need to join our legislators in a real Tax Revolt. Chip said it’s time for Revolution at the Tea Party. It isn’t fair for the Senators to be leaving us behind. They should come out and proudly declare that they do in fact oppose the IRS, the “authority” of the IRS, and recognize that the income tax is in violation to the Constitutional restraints of government.

We will all bring Jenny cigs in the big house, right?

I'm not Icarus March 7, 2009 at 5:00 pm

Not just cigs, but cigs made from organic, non-genetically modified tobacco, rolled with fire safe paper.

Wonder how many “desk jockeys” a.k.a. “bureaucrats” or “non producers” would be S.O.L. if we got rid of the income tax. Wow. But I’m willing to do my part in employing some of these folks. They could come over and do some yard work since I don’t hire illegal aliens any more.
