Though members of Council were being told Jim Cole would support the whole package David Lucas and Nikki Randall were proposing, I’ve now confirmed that he is not.

I don’t want any part of the deal to pass, but I understand Allen, Cecil, Jim, and Tony being willing to support the Halls of Fame. So be it. But we don’t need to continue subsidizing the Douglas Theater to compete against private businesses that don’t lose the money the Douglas loses and we don’t need a David Lucas Football Stadium & Amphitheater.
