Sounds like he wants to run Gulfstream, and the jobs it provides, out of the state.
Sales Tax exemptions and Property Tax exemptions = Apples and Oranges.Regardless of which side of the arguement you are on with SB31,the reality of it is, it will be passed by both Chambers and signed by the Governor.
Well in a period of extreme economic uncertainty and job loss, I don’t think we should be demagoguing corporate tax breaks. We need to be creating an environment favorable to job growth.
“I don’t think we should be demagoguing corporate tax breaks.”
(So much for the even playing field, entrepreneurs, small business, ect…)
“So much for an even playing field,” the Georgia GOP will go the way of the Republican controlled US Senate, the US House and the US Executive branch.
We ought to give tax breaks to small business as well.
Interesting how you used the “we…give tax breaks” in regards to small business but not to corporations. As if “we” don’t really “give” corporations anything, but for small business, “we” should do some “giving”. After all, with large corporations, they’re the ones doing the “giving”, as in “giving” us a job, “giving” GA a shot at landing the big manufacturing facility, that is, if NC doesn’t beat us to it, and of course “giving” the legislators free food and prizes.
