Open Georgia

I am surprised that no one has said a word about the new Open Georgia website.  It can be found online at www.open.georgia.gov

What an excellent site to help bring more transparency to Georgia.

Being the consummate nerd that I am when it comes to opportunities to download huge chunks of datasets, I can tell you, Icarus, that in the 19,162 record file of all payments made in 2008 for “professional services” by the various departments within our state government, there was no occurence of a “Bambi” or a “Kiki” being shown as a recipient.

BUT…who knows what “LLC” they may be operating under…
