I think Bubba, and so many traditional GA democrats, were more DINOs. Versus today in GA, which is still a red state, where you got a bunch of folks who are Democrats pretending to be Republicans.

You mailed it on the head-Powell has anything but a wide political spectrum. Angela Speir’s endorsement is simply bad blood because of her race against McDonald six years ago. Mrs./Ms./Miss Pam Davidson was a Democrat who ran for state representative several years ago. The first time anyone even suspected that Pam might be a Republican was when she qualified to run for PSC. As for Jimmy Carter, as Lewis Grizzard would say, “Damn, brother, I don’t believe I would have told that one…”.

Mr. Powell has not built a broad coalition.

Speir and Davidson are both RINO’s. Davidson was a hardcore democrat until about 3 days before PSC qualification. Angela and Jimmy have far more similarities than differences.

Just for the record, watch Tuesday night’s results. Regardless of who wins the election, pay attention to Cobb County and Towns County. Cobb County is where Mr. Powell took his homestead exemption last year, and Towns County is where he now “legally” resides so he can run in the Northern District for PSC. The counties that know Powell best (Cobb and Towns) will give McDonald some of his better victories on Tuesday.

The important thing about Mr. Powell’s endorsements is his ability to appeal to a wide political spectrum. There is a vast difference between President Carter and Republican Commissioner Speir (Republican Pam Davidson as well has endorsed Mr. Powell). This really shows Mr. Powell’s dedication to reach across party lines.

As far as the Christian Alliance mailer, being a Christian is shown in actions and not just words. Here lies another difference between Mr. McDonald and Mr. Powell. McDonald represents big talk and Mr. Powell represents big action.

It’s time for a professional on the Public Service Commission — It’s time for Jim Powell!

Your appearance here is much appreciated, as much as the other candidate. We can only hope this is a trend that will extend into the future and become and integral part of the Great American Debate.

Now.

Please stop wasting space/breath/my time counter-attacking. Our Soon to be President Obama did not counter attack. He stayed above the fray, focused on message, and as a result US Citizens heaped all kinds of WIN upon his campaign.

You spent half your space talking about your opponent. What about you?

Being as how I may be only one of a few fiscal conservatives that did not do a toe curl when you crowed your endorsement from Pres. Carter, I am not sure why I should vote for you either.

Seems I am more inclined to vote against your opponent than for you.

I did like the part about having no experience. The type of experience your opponent has is not the type of experience we need.
