To be accurate, Jones was at Chambliss’ party to provide on-air Election Night commentary for Beacon Media. I told him I was surprised to see him there and we chatted for about 15 minutes about a variety of things. Some pretty hilarious stuff, too.

Vernon Jones is trying to save his political career and the best way to do that in the ultraconservative south is to side with the republicans that have a strangle hold on Georgia’s political landscape.
