How can Republicans be for free markets and competition or representative govt. if they don't allow dissent within their own ranks? And the dissent plays well with independents too. In his book "conservatives without Conscience" John Dean said dissent is a Republican tradition. Fiscal conservatism plays well also. Nobody identifies themselves as a fiscal liberal, although Bushco may carry this label to their graves. Of course most Dems are focused on the Marxist statement and in defensive mode. AHHAHAAA! Add to this the blogger factor. Bloggers have nobody else to focus on now except Obama. He's not only on top, he's the only guy left to talk about! This isn't necessarily the Republican attack machine. And to people who say: "Get over it. Obama won." There's more to it than that.
