However, I am beginning to lose faith. That does not mean that I necessarily agree with many of the Democratic party ideas or agenda. My problem is that our Governor has seen fit to recommend that a change from "will" to "may" apply an automatic COLA to retirees income just sticks in my craw. First of all I don't believe that this "change" will in any way work to my benefit. Secondly to say that the system is sound and then make this kind of change does not make sense. How stupid do Gov. Perdue and the Board think that we are. If this change becomes policy, I intend to VOTE for any candidate who will change the policy back to the original wording. I am a long time Republican.
