20 stores in Augusta and 6 in the Savannah area are under investigation for letting the free market dictate increases in their prices so more people would be able to buy gas without running out.

Soon those evil oil companies will be giving gas away.

Sounds like we need a government takeover of gas stations. The free market is clearly broken.

If this is ‘free market’ at work….no wonder our financial systems are in such a mess.

Greed is good. Anything burdening greed is bad.

If it were a truly ‘free market’ then citizens could decide when someone is being greedy in disastrous times, and burn that station down after taking all its gasoline. Back in the day the poor took care of the greedy rich with tar, feathers and rail.

Today, goons of the the state are ‘free’ to gun the citizens down, and never be prosecuted.

So much for ‘free’dom.

I think Robert Heinlein has a quite that is perfect for your Ricky.

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded- here and there, now and then- are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty. This is known as “bad luck.”.

I guess you would be one of the mouth breathing thugs driving the productive out of town.
