This morning I was discussing Ayers with my husband, specifically about how pieces of his speeches I've read (namely in Venezuela) sound exactly like the communist garbage one of my old professors at UGA used to espouse. I decided to google "Todd Dinkelman" and "Ayers" to see if maybe they were actually separated at birth and lo and behold I find this! LMAO. I actually transferred out of grad school because I couldn't stomach the idea of putting even one more cent towards this guy's existence. He had an American Flag with a swastika superimposed on it on his door, gave me C's on my papers and sent me epic length, emotionally driven email screeds because I was the only person in the class who had the guts to say such right-wing extremist things such as "housing and health care aren't human rights according to the constitution." When I went to his office and asked him why we never read ANY alternate philisophical viewpoints other than the Marxist-leaning drivel we were all forced to read, he said that society's current structure WAS the alternate viewpoint and he didn't have a responsibility to discuss it in class. I ended up taking my case to the dean, who read my papers, and suddenly my grades in the class went up. Imagine that. I have 2 degrees and have come to the conclusion that college is the biggest waste of money on this planet because of ivory tower idiots like this who have absolutely no concept of reality. I would have been much better off taking 100K to Vegas and feeding the slot machines.

If you are saying that all black people ("one complete demographic") are voting for Obama making 100% of their decision on skin color, then you are making an absurd generalization, one that shows you haven't talked with many black people about politics. Remember back in the primary? Hillary had quite respectable support from African Americans.

John-

I somewhat agree with what you just said, although when 40% of the country does not pay income tax I fear we are moving towards a Marxist mindset.

Although, I'm getting really sick of discussing skin color (and Obama hasn't even been elected yet). While the race card appears to have been a "a get out of jail free card" during the entire campaign, I don't know when Obama gets his major crisis test (as Biden predicts) if sending John Lewis out to call that leader or country a racist will do that much good.

I'm not voting for Obama because he's the most inexperienced and communist leaning nominee we've had in a hundred years and leaves me begging for Hillary. His initial reaction on every national crisis appears to acquiesce in the name of pacifism. I suppose learning a little Arabic would be culturally broadening.

Anyway, I digress, the reason I'm not voting for him has nothing to do with race. Sure there are probably a few white rednecks not voting for him due to be black, but there is only one complete demographic that is basing 100% of their decision on skin color.

Unless the party gets back to focusing on conservative economics and gets off the “Real American” issue the GOP will become a regional party. The demographics of America is becoming more pluralized not less. People under 40 do not care about gut issue politics in the macro.

Most Americans are conservative via economics and lean toward a libertarian view toward gut issues. You can put your hand in the sand and not deal with the reality of the situation.

As I said before the Young Republicans are the future. But if the old guard stays with the current plan the party will be marginalized.

You know John I don't know why you've bought the "let's all get along" BS from the Obama campaign.

You seem to have bought into this whole white people guilt / self-hatred movement. Do you stand in front of the mirror and call yourself a racist every morning?

Those guys are the worst when it comes to splitting Americans. For an example refer back to the "Spanish Only" radio ad they did filled with race baiting lies about John McCain.

The GOP is dying via the hypocritical attacks and lack of focus on real issues. The game is over. For The GOP to make a comeback it most focus on fiscal conservative message not splitting Americans.

John, Part 2

As far as ACORN and McCain in 2006, I believe that was BEFORE all the recent info about ACORN has been revealed.

And, yet...another IRRELEVANT foul called by you, John.

YOU have a real problem with timeframe, don't you? That is, you don't GET that there is any relevance in the timeframe of events and people?

I'm surprised you're not digging-up a time when John McCain may have praised the cooking in the Hanoi Hilton as some kind of "proof" that maybe McCain really enjoyed his stay in Vietnam.

John,

In the mid-1990s, the US was still playing footsie with Saddam via supplying chemical ingredients (courtesy of the Clinton Administration), so you don't mind if I call IRRELEVANT to your claim, do you?

McCain was for Acorn when he wanted his immigration bill passed!

Sen. McCain Key Note Speaker At ACORN Rally In 2006

M… Sen. John McCain was happy to accept the honors and acclamation of the Service Employees International Union, People for the American Way, UNITE HERE — and ACORN. Here he is, on Feb. 20, 2006, telling immigration rights activists at a rally in Miami that they “are what makes America special.” ACORN co-sponsored the rally, and its volunteers surround McCain, and while there’s no evidence that McCain ever formally teamed with the group, the video serves as a reminder that he did not mind being associated with them when the politics of the moment were different….

Six to twelve months ago, Obama refusing to distance himself from Ayers would have been a perfectly valid campaign issue to raise.

Two to three weeks before the election, it's just retarded.

The timing of this "controversy" shows that not even the Republicans really take it all that seriously. Stop embarrassing yourselves, and get back on-message.

John Konop...you have gone so far off the deep-end, you cannot be communicated with.

To equate a long-ago advisor to Saddam Hussein to the anti-American/Anti-Semetic crowd that supports Obama now is, in my view, an attempt at comparing apples to squirrels.

It hardly matters which brand we choose, both are handmaidens to the Corporotocracy.

Partisan politics has sunk to its' newest levels yet. And that is lower than whale poop.

Perhaps we should have Fairness Hearings to determine who among us has not given enough of their stuff to the disadvantaged.

Or maybe more Corporate Welfare to aid big business. That's it, Sax roll on it.

I will vote GOP this year, as I usually do. I will not vote for Jim Martin or Obama, or any of the Amendments. The PSC is a joke vote, Bubba.

And in four more years, the issues will still remain unresolved, and the hand wringing will continue.

How many years have we heard that Medicare/caid are going broke. Social Security is next. And the Federal deficit scares Alan Greenspan. When they go, the financial crises we see today will pale by comparison.

No plan for any of that, is there????

We have so many resources in this Country, it amazes me we may screw up the greatest opportunity to advance Mankind known.

It was not their Time - God

"Until the Liberals...get rid of their double standard, they should not be taken seriously.."

Oh yes they should all the liberal b@stards not able to make it the real world, outside of their little fishbowl and government subsidy, need to be shaken up. Let academia become plumbers.

That way, they could show the crack in their @ss legitimately and get paid for a worthy cause.

If a conservative associated with an unapologetic former KKK member who was an unindicted co-conspirator of a Black Church bombing, I wonder if these academics would be as forgiving. Until, the liberals get rid of their double standard, they should not be taken seriously in academia or in politics. Oh, the only ex-KKK member currently in congress is a Democrat.

John,
To be fair in the association game... Obama assisted Acorn with $800,000 with campaign funds and had to admit it after trying to hide that fact. You're right associations do matter!

In fairness the association game flies both ways! Why not talk about real issues?

McCain Transition Chief Aided Saddam In Lobbying Effort

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/10/14/mccain-transition-chief-a_n_134595.html
William Timmons, the Washington lobbyist who John McCain has named to head his presidential transition team, aided an influence effort on behalf of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein to ease international sanctions against his regime.
The two lobbyists who Timmons worked closely with over a five year period on the lobbying campaign later either pleaded guilty to or were convicted of federal criminal charges that they had acted as unregistered agents of Saddam Hussein's government.
During the same period beginning in 1992, Timmons worked closely with the two lobbyists, Samir Vincent and Tongsun Park, on a previously unreported prospective deal with the Iraqis in which they hoped to be awarded a contract to purchase and resell Iraqi oil. Timmons, Vincent, and Park stood to share at least $45 million if the business deal went through.
Timmons' activities occurred in the years following the first Gulf War, when Washington considered Iraq to be a rogue enemy state and a sponsor of terrorism. His dealings on behalf of the deceased Iraqi leader stand in stark contrast to the views his current employer held at the time.

The government did screw up Ayers trial. But it was no accident. Our government is loaded with leftists in every agency. Just think if Bush, when elected in 2000, had cleaned house at the State Dept. and the CIA. Bush was trying to show some bi-partisan cooperation when he kept so many of the Clinton appointees in their positions. All Bush got was leak after leak after leak. He was unable to accomplish a thing. Hell, just think if Jamie Gorelick had not tied the FBI's and CIA's hands we might have been able to connect the dots before 9/11. But we were so tied up in the election mess of 2000 and the transition of power was so screwed up we're now in the position we're in.

Today, we're having to bailout our economy not once, not twice but now there's talk of a third bailout/stimulus. Good God! I thought everything was suppose to be fine after the 700 billion dollar Paulson freak show. Today the stock market is about to crash again, foreign markets have already done so. Now there is talk about the government taking over our 401k's.

These academia idiots know as long as they push for "That One" they will be in line for that big raise while the rest of us are left with just Hope and Change in our pockets.

Maybe these educators on this list need to be added to the Homeland Security No-Fly list. Just think if McCain had been affiliated with the KKK, CAIR or the Timothy McVeigh terrorist group, he would have been pilloried by the press, but "That One" gets a pass. How many more times will "That One's story change about his association with the excellent author of education and indoctrination of marxism, Professor Ayers? He was a guy in the neighborhood, no wait, we met a few times in the elevator.. no wait, my daughter sold Sally Foster at his home. He hired me but we never met. We worked in adjoining offices but never saw each other. I started my campaign in his living room but he was on vacation at the time. Which is it O?
