Experimenting in Muscogee

This will be interesting.

The Muscogee County School District will apply to become a charter system, despite calls for more public input before the request is submitted to the state.

The school board voted 7-2 to approve the application during a meeting Monday night. Board members Cathy Williams, Fife Whiteside, Brenda Storey, Phillip Schley, James Walker, John Wells and Joe Roberson voted to approve the application; board members Pat Hugley-Green and Naomi Buckner voted against approving it.
