A Biden moment for Jim Martin

I’m sure he meant otherwise, but it’s still sort of funny. At the end of the WSB-TV debate, he closed with this:

We need someone in Washington to stand up for the middle class. Saxby will, I won’t!

LOL.

“Jokes about Chambliss’ voting record in the Senate also made the rounds. “Somebody ought to buy Saxby a 10-gallon hat, so he’d look more like a Texan,” refers to Chambliss’ loyal support for Big Oil and Gas, an important Texas industry. Georgia has no oil or gas wells.”

That’s friggin hilarious. Of course there’s more and more criticism from the right pertaining to corporate welfare and the whole “corporations <> competition rather than large corps. epitomizing free enterprise and competition.

Trust me, far more tax money is made off of “big oil” then is ever given out as “welfare”. But if Martin wants to make Saxby’s support of more oil exploration part of the campaign, then I say have at it.

    The facts:
    1. The libertarian is not going to win
    2. while it’s painful to vote for Saxby, not to vote for him allows the dems too much control
    3. let’s get Saxby elected and then work on fixing our party from the local level up. That way we can have a good candidate for Senate – maybe one of our great Congressmen.

Point – as much as it sucks, we must vote for Saxby!
