Erick, Give Rick Goddard a Cell Phone

Erick, you need to give Rick Goddard a cell phone, and teach him how to use the internets.  As you recall, Goddard went missing for three days last week while polling what he should say about the bailout.  The intrepid Troy Windham went out in search of the elusive Rick Goddard.  Check it out here.

  1. Clearly Jim Marshall doesn’t have cell phone coverage either, that or the lobbyists were burning up his phone lines so much he couldn’t listen to the people he is supposed to represent.

I’m not even sure this couldn’t be an argued point anyway. Being that I live near the tower for that area, I will tell you it does go out randomly; certainly not for three days. But I do know for a fact that it does not like certain cell phones, but I think that is due to carriers and I’m not up to date on what cellphone General Goddard uses.

I can’t honestly say if he waited for polls or not, but I can’t say that I wouldn’t vote for someone who did listen to the polls on an issue like this.

I liked that. I thought it was pretty funny. The problem is demographically there isn’t going to be a big market for something like that, but I think it is good they had the initiative to do something like that.

“The art of war teaches us to rely not on the likelihood of the enemy’s not coming, but on our own readiness to receive him; not on the chance of his not attacking, but rather on the fact that we have made our position unassailable.

He who exercises no forethought but makes light of his opponents is sure to be captured by them.”

The young man made a clever video but Goddard isn’t Marshall only opponent; he better hope my fellow Obama supporters don’t find out that Marshall never says the word “Obama” or it is on.

One more thing: many of the new voters who are Obama supporters are not Democrats, Republicans or Independents—zero loyalty to Pelosi, Dean or Kidd. But, it they hear the conspiracy theory that a congressman is riding the Obama wave but not acknowledging the campaign or helping with the effort, they would be vindictively vote against him or for no one in that contest.

I bet the Secretary of State will report that many people only voted for president—sad fact but true.
