if she did indeed contract with this voodoo priestest to give this woman cancer, isn’t that conspiracy to commit murder or at least assault?

If two people sat around planning how to cause another mortal harm, it would seem that they would qualify for prosecution. If nothing else, they can get the woman to testify that voodoo is a bunch of malarky she uses to defraud her customers.

I’m not sure about the designation. Could mean “high priced” voodoo priestess, or “high in the SC Mountains” voodoo priestess, or “high” like in “Ganga” voodoo priestess, but probably means she’s performed lots of spells on un-suspecting victims. And since they can’t agree on what causes cancer maybe they should tackle the voodoo connection before imposing national healthcare on everybody.
