Sandy Springs, Ga.—September 30, 2008: Shawn Hanley, Chairman of the Fulton County Republican Party announced today that former United Nations Ambassador John Bolton will headline a party event in October. The event will be held Monday, October 6 at 7:30 p.m. at a private residence in Sandy Springs. The event will be held on behalf of members of the organization’s Chairman’s Council.

Hanley remarked, “I look forward to welcoming Ambassador Bolton to Fulton County. He has a long and distinguished record of service to the American people and we will be honored to have him.”

Chairman Hanley continued, “In a time where the language coming out of Iran is increasingly hostile and Russia is conducting naval exercises off the coast of South America it would be very beneficial to hear the thoughts of a foreign policy expert before we vote in November.”

Chairman’s Council members have the privilege of helping to guide the future of the Fulton County Republican Party and events are exclusively prepared for council members. Past speakers include Governor Sonny Perdue, Senator Johnny Isakson, Secretary of State Karen Handel, Congressman Tom Price, State House Speaker Pro Tempore Mark Burkhalter, Grover Norquist and Ralph Reed. For questions concerning the Chairman’s Council, events or to become a member, contact party Executive Director Brandon Phillips at 404-851-1444 or [email protected]

Fulton County? Didnt Fulton have real problems last year? It seems like they’re doing things all the time now. Bad old leadership or good new leadership?

  2. Ron2008 says:

Fulton County is now one of the number 1 republican counties in the state. I stopped by the other day for a yard sign and the volunteer staff couldn’t have been nicer. They have at least 10-15 volunteers there on a daily basis. I give a big thank you to Shawn Hanley and all the hard work he has put in to turn around Fulton County!

“He has a long and distinguished record of service to the American people and we will be honored to have him.”

Mr. Bolton has a big asterick by his name – he was never confirmed by the Senate. And a few Republicans helsped to put it there.

  4. bowersville says:

Who wants to listen to John Bolton speak on foreign policy when you can stay home and listen to Dick Morris advise Republicans on Republican Presidential campaign strategy.

Or maybe, we can all stay home and read relevant information on PP from Progressive Dem about an asterisk.
