Montezuma Mayor Willie J. Larry is asking the Macon County Commission to repay a $176,000 state loan for a sewer project. That amount is the share that Allens, Inc., the major employer in the area, is balking about paying. If forced to do so, they’ll be pulling up stakes.

I did not know who the mayor or Montezuma was, but after looking at the article, I don’t think that Willie Larry is a member of the mennonite community.

I’m not sure the good mayor makes much sense.
