Wedding Bells

I thought this had already happened.

After a controversial disclosure of their relationship, a whirlwind romance and a TV announcement of their engagement, the state Department of Transportation’s commissioner and its former board chairman were married Saturday by Gov. Sonny Perdue and an Alabama circuit court judge.

The commissioner, the former Gena Abraham, took the last name of her new husband, Mike Evans.

So now will there be kids?

    No, because they’re not cousins.

Actually, Sonny was not allowed to marry them because, even though he is “captain,” it is of a sinking ship.

Didn’t Georgia’s borders used to extend to the Mississippi River? Now that’s a water source! I say forget Tennessee, we need to head west.
