So says the AJC.
A task force studying finances of the new city of Dunwoody presented a cash flow projection Monday night that shows the city about $2.3 million in the red for the first year.
The debt, according to an analysis by the Citizens for Dunwoody task force, will come from disputed revenue, such as money from the Homestead Option Sales Tax, and money that will not be available in the city’s first year, such as $1.6 million in occupational tax revenue.
They got their city. Now I guess is the best time to actually figure out if the numbers work.
