See here.

Obama recently stopped running ads in Georgia, a state the campaign originally identified as a potential battleground. Some Georgia field staff was moved into North Carolina, said Plouffe.

Here is what McCain says to Georgia concerning Obama ….

“He’ll never love you, the way that I love you
‘Cause if he did, no no, he wouldn’t make you cry
He might be thrillin’ baby but a-my love (my love, my love)
    So dog-gone willin’
So kiss him (I wanna see you kiss him. Wanna see you kiss him)
Go on and kiss him goodbye, now

Na na na na, hey hey-ey, goodbye
Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey-ey, goodbye

    Listen to me now

He’s never near you to comfort and cheer you
When all those sad tears are fallin’ baby from your eyes
He might be thrillin’ baby but a-my love (my love, my love)
    So dog-gone willin’
So kiss him (I wanna see you kiss him. I wanna see you kiss him)
Go on and kiss him goodbye, na-na na-na-na na na

Na na na na, hey hey-ey, goodbye

    [Fade in]

    Hey hey-ey, goodbye
Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey-ey, goodbye
Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey-ey, goodbye
Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey-ey, goodbye”

    Buzz,

With the way that his convention speach broke all records in viewership, and how he has an insurmountable lead in all the polls, I think you are right.

Although Obama has given up on GA I am not convinced that a trickle down effect won’t happen. I think there will still be an effect in lower level races. I know Bill Cowsert’s senate re-election could see problems primarily in Clarke. I imagine a token effect statewide on new registrants could have a greater effect in these areas.

I am for Obama (oh, really?), but he has no chance in Georgia. We’ve spent too many years voting against our own interests to change now.
