“Gross said his campaign worked “very hard,” to make sure he had a clear field in the Democratic primary.”
Well, at least one of his goals was met. The Democrat side is now completely clear.

Mike’s a very responsive Rep that no doubt earns him a lot of crossover support, but the failure of the Democrat Party to field a credible candidate in a competitive district like his is illustrative of the sorry state of the Democratic Party organization in Georgia.

Pretty pathetic. Whether you like Mike Jacobs,or not, whether you would have voted for Mike Jacobs, or not, I think we can all agree that he deserved to have a challenge, this year particularly. He might have won that challenge, but he deserved to have one.

Well I’m not sure if Mike “deserved” to have a challenger anymore than any other incumbent. I can say if I were a Democrat I would be infuriated for their pathetic candidate recruitment. There were 4 or 5 rep seats the Dems have/had a legitimate shot at and the DPG whiffed on a number of them.
