Athens Needs to Improve

It should be in the top 5.

The University of Georgia is slipping in the rankings – down to No. 7 in The Princeton Review’s list of Best Party Schools in the nation.

Georgia isn’t even the best or second-best party school in the Southeastern Conference, according to the poll. Those slots are held by the University of Florida at No. 1 and the University of Mississippi at No. 2. The two schools also are 1-2 in the national poll, according to the magazine.

Two other SEC schools also cracked the top 20 – the University of Tennessee at No. 18 and the University of Alabama at No. 19.

Coming in at 7 is just too low. We need to improve. How about a Peach Pundit outting?!

You just have to blame the underclassmen for this.

Face it, with rising admissions standards, the folks who know from high school how to maintain a solid top 5 party ranking are going to other schools.

I look at this as a challenge to both upper classmen and alumni to ensure that we help get the freshmen and late blooming sophomores into the groove a bit sooner.
