I think he’s safe too

Jerry Keen give his perspective in Macon.

A north Georgia legislator’s plan to wrest the gavel away from Georgia Speaker of the House Glenn Richardson doesn’t stand much chance, Majority Leader Jerry Keen told a room full of Rotary Club members today during a visit to Macon.

Pity.

I don’t know if he is safe. With people like James Mills waffling on their support.

I can’t believe Mills is actually considering voting for Ralston. Does this mean he will give up his chairmanship if re-elected? Maybe he has more brains than I gave him credit for.

Quote? Proof?

I hate to agree with the likes of Jay Bookman, but I don’t think the current race is the final chapter in this saga. While the professional pundits (can you call the GA Gang professional pundits? They buried this mid-broadcast behind ‘GA DOT didn’t really lose $1BN’) say it isn’t going to happen, there are a lot of folks under the gold dome sitting back and reading tea leaves. If it looks like Ralston starts to gain any traction, look for a Mark Burkhalter type to jump in.

Hmmm….

Quote:

I think it’s very unwise to commit who you’re going to support until you know who all the candidates are - James Mills

Proof:

Richardson=Immoral, Pro-Choice, Anti-Tax

Mills=Christian, Pro-Life, Tax and Spend Liberal

That is waffling if I have ever heard it.
