Big Brother City Of Macon Always Ready To Help

The city of Macon is now providing loan and grant incentives to prospective homeowners seeking to purchase 18 new homes recently completed in the Fort Hill neighborhood. The “incentives” are between 10-25K.

For a city with such severe financial problems, should it be spending money in this manner? Even if it didn’t have such financial problems, is that really the role of government?

Maybe this guy can give us the scoop on this issue and what he thinks about it.

Oh, no. A government giving incentives to individuals. Never. Giving them to corporations? All the time, please.
