Candidates may come to Georgia….

…and you might even get to see them for less that $2100 per person.

Time has an article on Obama’s focus on making Georgia a competitive state.

So, if Obama does spend time in Georgia, will McCain also spend time here? How will Obama’s focus on Georgia impact the US Senate race?

All you have to do is look at the turnout for the presidential primary, and you’ll know Georgia is suddenly up for grabs.

The GOP is not excited at all about its nominee. The Democrats are.

And Bob Barr will probably pull at least 8% here.

Welcome to Blue State, same as Red State.

if i were less lazy i could show instances of dem primary turnout outpacing gop turnout going back to the 80’s–one does not equal the other–bob barr will not get anywhere near 8% even in ga–it will be closer–no 20 point blowout like 04–but i would bet on mccain winning ga, if i were a betting man…

In the past most libertarians have recieced abot3-5% with no budget. I believe Garret Hayes(Governor Candidate libertarian)
got around 4% while spending 12,000$ and no name with the puplic. Barr should have more money to spend here and people know his name and he has been getting more press so 8% is within range.

3.8% for hayes in 06–pretty close to a high water mark for libertarians in ga–some dissaffected flaggers who refused to back sonny voted libertarian–in 04 the prez nominee got .6% for the libertarians-in 2000 1.5%-if barr gets even 5% in ga i’ll eat my hat…
