Where’s the Beach?

At high tide it is non-existent.

On the north end of the island, almost all of the open beach is covered at high tide, while on the south end and midsection of the island, sands are still accessible.

On St. Simons Island, high tide also wipes out portions of beach or pushes sun bathers against the vegetation-covered back beach.

On which end of the island is the piece of property that Glenn Richardson has down there? Anyone remember?

Perhaps it was “under water” and he gave that to his ex-wife in the dee-vorce.

I have been summering at since I was a kid. And they have always had little sand. Many days I would go and lay out in grass and watch the ocean. Strange but true.
