Rand Knight has picked up the AFL-CIO’s endorsement over Jim Martin.
I still think Jim is the front runner and I don’t see union endorsements being as effective as they once were.
Nonetheless, of the unions out there, getting the AFL-CIO’s endorsement is a pretty big thing in some Democratic circles.
BTW, a couple of people suggested I’m in the bag for Jim, which is why I didn’t post this sooner. A couple others suggested I’m too Republican to want to say something nice about a Democrat. Heh. The GOP suggests otherwise.
Truth be told, I’m been light on blogging all around this week. I’ve been doing fill in for the morning show on 940 AM in Macon and getting up at 4am kicks my butt.

Saturday night I was downtown
Working for the FBI
Sitting in a nest of bad men
Whiskey bottles piling high

Bootlegging boozer on the west side
Full of people who are doing wrong
Just about to call up the DA man
When I heard this woman singing a song

Well, does anyone really know the words to Soulja Boy? For all I know, that’s what he’s singing.
