I'm not criticizing their previous attempts, but at some point you've got to cut bait. It's too slim of a chance.

Georgia has a better case than Indiana.

If you ask me, the DPG is still pursuing the Voter ID stuff as political cover to distract from their pathetic candidate recruitment. This should be a good year for Dems, and if they can't move the ball forward here in GA then it was a major missed opportunity.

Good point moocher...but winning this suit can free up a couple hundred thousand voters that should be targeted for the Obama campaign's gotv. Why moderate and try to pick up disenchanted republicans when the Democratic party committees can just increase their natural constituency? That is the Karl Rove school of campaign politics.

It also helps lawyers send their children to private schools. If I was a contributor to the DPG, I'd be pissed they keep spending money on a a pointless lawsuit that has now been shot down by the Supreme Court. I'd want that money to go a goal that can actually be accomplished, like winning an election.

Of course Jane Kidd doesn't really have any campaigns to concentrate on since she did such an unbelievably pathetic job in candidate recruitment. Mike Jacobs and Gene Maddox should have been prime targets. Maddox has no opposition and Jacobs might as well have no opposition with an opponent straight out of the Twilight Zone as he keeps his resume confidential.

Wow - ongoing pre-election and post-election litigation is a permanent component of campaign strategy. Rabble rousing takes on a whole new meaning.
