WALB has a story on 172 Georgia Army National Guard soldiers from the 148th Forward Support Company (based in Albany) which, as part of the Georgia Army National Guard 48th Infantry Brigade, are preparing to join more than 4,000 other Georgia citizen soldiers for a deployment to Afghanistan next year.
