I do like and respect Ox but anyone who understands economics can see the issues with the Fair Tax. And Indy has done a great job educating people on the PP.

As I said many times I support a hybrid between the Fair Tax and Flat Tax. Yet what bothers me about this issue is it is a distraction on dealing with the spending issue and falling dollar.

And it is true that we must deal with SS and Medicare to balance the budget. Yet both can be fixed with minor adjustments. And the concept that do not worry about pork bills like the latest farm bill, Highway bill….. because it is only a small part of the problem is irresponsible!

Interest on the national debt is one of the highest expenses we have.
