City of Midtown, Georgia?

“I think it is time to seriously consider the formation of a break-away city to include Midtown and surrounding neighborhoods,” Midtown Ponce Security Alliance Vice-President Steve Gower has written in a widely circulated e-mail.

    @moocher

    Why does Buckhead choose not to incorporate?

    Tea-

    Because it is already incorporated in the City of Atlanta.

    I’ve never considered my area of town to be either in Atlanta or Midtown,as they are both full of self-righteous rag-tards and corrupt water boys for big development. Lets not get into the biddie hens infecting the ‘neighborhood

    I prefer to call my area of town (about 2 blocks north of The Varsity):

    Tweentown.

    Sandy Springs was the exception and had a sufficient tax base and decades of planning to be successful.

    Folks ignore the woes that Milton and Johns Creek are experiencing as they march like lemmings pursuing governing alternatives regardless of the consequences in their quest for identity.

    All governing bodies have their faults and trading one for another is not likely to be the answer - it just means higher taxes for startup expenses.

    Those obsessed with self determination should just incorporate their block instead and they can lord over everyone else on their street. LOL

    No chance, just another activist.

    South Fulton Guy is correct -
    “Those obsessed with self determination should just incorporate their block instead and they can lord over everyone else on their street.”

    In the vast pool of idiots, Gower certainly stands out.
