According to WSB on the drive home, the Governor signed HB89 which will lead to massive death, destruction and Armageddon in the streets. Already 15 people have been shot on Marta, and bartenders around the state are wearing bandoleers.

But for the love of God and all that is holy… don’t try to smoke… cause that, you know, can harm other people.

Calling that bill a Chamber loss is laugh out loud hysterical.

Soulja Girl and her baby daddy better watch out…Chris is strapped and trigger-happy and has bought a bunch of MARTA tokens. Is there a bounty on crackheads?

Is Mulligan’s considered a bar or a restaurant?

I called several times. Good to know Sonny still listens to me.

How will waiters and waitresses enforce this law? Deputize the Hooters girls. Don’t want any unlawful searches and seizures.

Some Hooter girl gave me a seizure once, but I digress…
CHelf…they will enforce this law the same way they have for decades…
POORLY

The real question is, when, a year from now, there haven’t been any adverse effects from this law, are those that predicted the equivalent of “blood in the streets” going to apologize?

Paul Shuford has the only reasonable comment here, which is a bit of a disappointment to me.

Typical. You can’t factually oppose the idea so resort to ad hominem attacks.

I don’t know. How do they enforce DUI now?
Last I checked it’s not the place of any restaurant employee to enforce any law. They have to make sure they don’t break a law - serving to minors. That’s why restaurants check ID, not to enforce the underage drinking law but rather to not break the serving to minors law. There is no law that says it’s illegal to serve to someone carrying a firearm so there is nothing for a server to be concerned with.

Chris,
Stop trying to impersonate a Republican, would ya? Go join the Whine Party.

Actually, Tinkerhell, they check IDs so they aren’t liable for serving alcohol to minors. If a fake is shown, they aren’t asked to discern its authenticity.
