Is this “official?”

Annoyed Dawg May 7, 2008 at 8:21 am

Rome, no, but only because the poster didn’t stay at a Holiday Inn Express.

So much for confidentiality on the tip line ;-)

Of course, the credibility of the source would be dependent on WHICH La Quinta. The people at the one on Chantilly Dr in Atlanta are particularly unreliable.

If it’s the one on the southside in Savannah, it may be a threat.

Governor Sonny will sign the bill for the following reasons:

1) He’s fat (no self-respect)
2) He’s a Southern Republican (no soul)
3) EMT’s and undertakers need more work
4) He’s fat

No, I’m not the Governor of Georgia… but I DID stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

It wasn’t Glenn RIchardson. He’s a Motel 6 guy.

DoubleDawg3 May 7, 2008 at 11:18 am

Motel 6, huh… do they charge by the hour?

drjay May 7, 2008 at 11:20 am

in reality, it’s harder to find charge by the hour hotels/motels than you would think

Romegaguy May 7, 2008 at 11:55 am

Speaking from experience Dr?

He’s going to sign it. Read or watch his press conference from yesterday (I know some/most of it is posted on InsiderAdvantageGeorgia ) and then read between the lines.

Not sure why he’s waiting, but he will sign.

Yeah for all us pro 2nd amendment folks! The first step in the right direction in a long while for Georgia. Too bad the rest of the session was not as worthwhile for Ga…

Walked right into that one, didn’t you?

drjay May 7, 2008 at 12:46 pm

“in reality, it’s harder to find charge by the hour hotels/motels than you would think”

They are a lot harder to find, since Atlanta moved Stewart Ave. I don’t know where they took it, but South Atlanta’s crime problem was eliminated overnight by removing Stewart Ave. More cities should follow Atlanta’s crime fighting lead by simply eliminating streets that are known for red-light activities. Problem solved.
