Qualifying Day 5

It ends at noon. I notice a number of GOP Senators getting challengers from the Democrats. I guess that has to do with being in the majority, but I don’t see the GOP doing very well at recruiting.

Party discipline seems to have gotten thrown out the window this year, especially for the Repubs. I expected a herd of cats to run this year on the Democratic side but was not expecting to see so many repubs face primary challenges.

How does Bubba get a pass…I mean, no serious contenders jumped in the race against him, come on. That job pays $111,000+ per year…geez, is that not enough?

Bubba owes his seat to Mike Evans and his game. Many people waited for him to make a decision and he toyed with them all. Makes you wonder what the pay off was so that Sonny could get his old boy back in office.
