Rep. Deal’s Staffer Returns Payments

Sucks for him.

Chris Riley, the chief of staff to Rep. Nathan Deal (R-Ga.), has returned more than $90,000 that he was paid by the lawmaker’s campaign committee from 2004 to 2007 because it exceeded the outside income limits set under House rules for top Congressional staff.

What are the limits?

I’m not sure.

Chris is a stand up guy. The financial implications will sting for the short term, but he’ll be O.K.

Wait, when was Doug elected?

I mean, I don’t care about him getting sworn in if his entire election goes unnoticed by the TMC!

He said “Deal’s Staffer”.

Actually Rugby, I am biding my time until he retires, so I can move back to my ancestral home and run as his successor. Although I was born in Ohio, my father’s line came from Northern GA, Southern TN. Perhaps my ancestors were responsible for the poorly surveyed line that cost us our river.
