He hasn’t qualified yet, but Josh Lanier will come out swinging:

Here is the ad that Lanier’s campaign is mocking.

I was not living in Georgia when Saxby ran this ad…hell I was not even in the country…I admire anybody who respects our military. I think that Saxby respects our military but this ad that Lanier put out does raise some really good questions….

That’s nice and all. I really do not like calling people losers, but Lanier certainly fits the bill.

I guess he is not smart enough to have figured out that he is not running against Saxby

I can’t wait to watch his ad on TV.

    Don’t hold your breath.

Does this clown really think that voting against 2 amendments is going to make Saxby look anti-military? Or that anyone will ever know who he is? Or that he will even finish higher than 4th in the Democrat race to see who gets dusted in Saxby’s re-election?

Why would a lefty say “Just do Right?”

How many veterans do we have running as Dems in GA now for Congressional seats? Against all those golf course Republicans! Interesting new dynamic at play here.

    A few things.
First off, the slogan Just Do Right comes from his campaign finance plan. Do your research before you make stupid remarks. Is a liberal not allowed to use the word “right”? That’s ridiculous.

Second, Josh will be running against Saxby once he wins the primary. It’s not in his nature to put down his fellow Democrats. You’d like him if you took the time to get to know him.

Josh is a straight forward, tell-it-like-it-is, kind hearted, intelligent man. Get to know him and his politics and I think you’ll see his potential.

    ahmgunaeachoo,

    Stupid remarks…look whose talking.

His campaign finance plan is to be an unfocused ideologue. Campaigning is about winning elections…not making a point.

He will lose the primary because he will raise about 1% of the necessary funds. Those that know him will know his reputation as a terrible candidate…just as they know Cardwell for climbing a poll (not to be confused with an opinion poll).

He is a protest candidate and a loser.

Care to make a wager ahmgunaeachoo?

3 to 1 Lanier receives fewer votes than any of the other candidates in that cluster-f#ck of a primary.

The amendment Lanier criticizes Saxby over voting against (along with all other GOP Senators) was about restricting the President and his military leaders’ ability to prosecute a war that they were asked to execute, and for which General Patraeus was unanimously confirmed to do. It was a short sighted, politically motivated, attempt to limit the ability of the President and his military leaders use of personnel and resources available to them.

Senator Webb’s amendment would have precluded “deployment” of certain active and reserve forces based on the number of days they have spent at home. Keep in mind these restrictions would apply to the Nation’s most experienced and capable troops during a time of war when we face an unpredictable and highly adaptive enemy.

Politicians should not be legislating how our officers should execute their mission, and Josh Lanier should not be attacking Saxby to letting our boys do their jobs without Washington meddling.

This ad makes me want to vote for him in the primary.

This is the kind of game we have to play against Saxby.
